Study On Pingxiang Ancient Garden

Pingxiang is located at the junction of wu chu and xiaoxiang.Geographical conditions superior,which has rich natural resources.With the development of steady and prosperous economy and splendid culture,the ancient gardens in pingxiang city have developed rapidly and become an indispensable part of jiangxi garden system.But less research on its at home and abroad,and for enriching Jiangxi landscape theory system,carrying forward the Pingxiang regional culture,and promoting the protection and inheritance of Pingxiang ancient gardens.This thesis uses document induction,field investigation,comprehensive analysis and other methods,to study the development of pingxiang ancient gardens,garden type,with typical representative landscape features.Firstly,The development of Pingxiang ancient gardens,can be divided into six stages:the germination of the pre-qin period,the generation period of Qin and han to wei,jin,southern and northern dynasties,the transition period of sui and tang dynasties,the prosperous period of two song dynasty,the florescence period of yuan and Ming dynasty and the mature period of Qing dynasty.Secondly,According to the subordinate relations,Pingxiang ancient gardens can be divided into seven categorie:the royal gardens,culture and education gardens,private gardens,temples gardens,government office garden,public gardens and nuo temple gardens.Among all kinds of gardens,there is a large proportion of temple gardens,which is one of the main characteristics of Pingxiang gardens.Thirdly,Landscape features of pingxiang’s ancient gardens are mainly reflected in three aspects,such as the mixed and diversified garden thinking,artistic conception of the point of view and the ingenuity of the garden technique.The garden thinking is dominated by the the religious culture,immortal zen union,Confucian culture of chongxian,literati culture,and the nuo culture of the characteristics.In 1992,Lianhua county divided from Jian to ingxiang.The unique history has produced the regional difference of Pingxiang culture.The areas in Pingxiang such as Anyuan,Xiangdong,Shangli and Luxi counties and two districts,have been affected by nuo culture,lianhua county affected by Luling culture,eight scenes culture spread very far.The gardening technique has its own characteristics in all aspects,especially in planting.The garden artistic conception pursues the harmony between man and nature,and creates elegant and tranquil landscape.
