The solar simulator is a special kind of lighting equipment.It can simulate the solar radiation with certain radiation intensity,radiation uniformity and collimation angle on a certain irradiated area under laboratory conditions.It is widely applied in solar cell test,satellite space environment simulation,ground test and the test and precision calibration of sun sensor.Combining the development trend of the solar simulator in recent years,this paper introduces the technical background and research status of the solar simulator.This paper systematically expounds the basic theory,design specification,classification structure and technical indicators of solar simulators from the perspective of technology composition,designs and analyzes two commonly used collimated light path structures for the collimating optical system of the collimated solar simulator.These two methods are the design method of transmission and reflective collimating optical system.Based on the above,this paper develops a set of four-dimensional adjustable centripetal dynamic collimated solar simulator.The main optical technical parameters are: effective radiation surface diameter 500 mm,right angle 2 degree,radiation intensity 0.7 solar constants.First of all,this paper first expounds the overall design scheme of the centripetal dynamic collimated solar simulator,then it introduces the optical structure design,the mechanical structure design,the cooling system design,and the design of the power and control system.The optical system of the centripetal dynamic collimated solar simulator is mainly composed of the xenon light source,the cone-axis ellipsoid mirror,the integral homogenizer,the field aperture,the reflection collimation lens and so on.The centripetal four-dimensional adjustment mechanism consists of a ring guide,a multi-stage screw lifting device and a two-axis yaw and pitch turret.The device can be used to simulate solar irradiation with different azimuths,heights and incidence angles.The innovations of this paper are as follows: 1)The xenon lamp and collimating objective are designed by independent modules.The collimating objective can rotate around the optical axis at the position of the aperture relative to the xenon lamp module.It ensures that the xenon lamp always ignites vertically during position and angle adjustment without affecting the tilt angle of the collimated beam.2)In this paper,a set of free-surface three-collimator optical system is designed,which makes the collimated optical path compact and lightweight.The incident direction of the optical axis is orthogonal to the ejection direction in this system.Finally,the test and analysis results show that the centripetal dynamic collimating solar simulator is satisfied with the technical requirements.
