The Problems And Countermeasures In Conservation Of World Cultural Heritage-the Classical Gardens Of Suzhou

Suzhou boasts of rich cultural heritage and is famous for its gardens.The Classical Gardens of Suzhou are ancient literati gardens,representing the Chinese outstanding traditional culture.After the founding of the People's Republic of China,the local government paid high attention to the conservation of the Classical Gardens,and it was the continuous effects of the local government that the gardens can be preserved so good and been included in UNESCO's World Heritage List.However,with the development of urbanization and the increasing protection requirements for the World Cultural Heritage,the problems that affect and restrict the sustainable development of the Classical Gardens of Suzhou have become increasingly prominent.This article,by reviewing the experience of conservation over the past years,analyzing the problems in the process of protection,and drawing lessons from the protection experience of developed countries,puts forward specific measures for the protection of the Classical Gardens in Suzhou and provides feasibility study for the protection and sustainable development of the Classical Gardens of Suzhou.
