This paper describes the entire process of the development of electric cars and CAN bus,CAN protocol design and virtual network simulation.And established the electric vehicle network based on the topology which the high-speed network used CAN bus and the low-speed control network used LIN bus.In this paper,high-speed CAN bus network for the study of the subject.After simplified the model of electric cars,designing a CAN protocol for electric vehicles based on the SAE J1939 commercial communications protocol.This CAN protocol identified four nodes,which consist vehicle controller motor controllers,battery management system and charger,and then use CANdb ++ Editor created a database of network protocols.And then use the software to check to logical of the database to make sure the database can operate normally.In this paper,after the database is created using CANoe network simulation capabilities to complete network simulation.Use CANoe to simulate the vehicle acceleration,deceleration,reversing and charging conditions,and to verify the accuracy and usefulness of further examination of the design of the CAN protocol.By introduction of the wiring harness production,wiring harness bench electrify test,vehicle assembling and running situation,this paper verifies the working condition of accelerating,decelerating,backing up and recharging,and demonstrates the stability,market value and prospect of the CAN protocol design.
