The Research For The Planning,Development,Competition And Cooperation Of The Boarder Line Region Between Shandong And Jiangsu Province

In recent years,all sectors of the society have attached more and more importance to the regional coordinated development because of imbalanced regional development as well as the obvious borderline’s development problems.The much attention paid to regional integration and regional coordinated development can be indicated from a series of policies conducted by the Party,the government and the function departments of all levels.This paper opens from the perspective that researching the characteristics of borderline regions’ development,figuring out the development bottleneck of South Shandong and North Jiangsu area.As the gradual appearance of problems resulted from imbalanced regional development,such as underdeveloped economy,unreasonable resource allocation,incomplete industrial structure and loose regional contact,the research for borderline regions’ development problems has been of high significance.This paper introduces the cities’ development conditions of borderline regions of South Shandong and North Jiangsu.On the one hand,based on the research for regional conditions,cultural backgrounds and economic development indexes of borderline regions,we conclude the root of underdevelopment in South Shandong and North Jiangsu region.On the other hand,based on the related theories and practices of borderline regions’ development home and abroad as well as the proposal of Core Area Coordinate Development Design of Huaihai Economic Zone,we conclude the strategic vision of borderline regions’ development of South Shandong and North Jiangsu,providing planning methods and practical experience for the future development of cities in South Shandong and North Jiangsu.At the same time,the research result will be a guideline for other underdeveloped provincial boarder line regions.
