Study On Investigation And Design Strategy Of Flower Border Of Urban Green Space In Hangzhou

Based on the comprehensive survey and investigation of flower border in Hangzhou urban green space,flower borders in 41 park green space and street green space in 5 main city zones and 25 parks,8 hotels,6 independent scenic sites and 4 roads in 15 scenic spots of the West lake scenic area were selected as the main objects to study.The types,plant species,landscape features and design strategies of flower border in Hangzhou urban green space were researched and analysis.The main results are as follows :(1)After a decade of development,types of flower border in Hangzhou urban green space are increasing,including 6 main types.The number of roadside flower border is the most,followed by lawn flower border and forest edge flower border.The flower border presents the change from independent landscape to combined landscape.(2)The number of plants used in Hangzhou flower border has grown from 188 in 2006 to 310 in 2017,and it is divided into 6 types.The proportion of different types of plant used in flower border also has changed greatly,in which the number of flowering shrubs has risen sharply.Plants used in flower border presents new optimization and the flower border type has changed from quantity to connotation and function.(3)According to the distribution structure of 310 species of plants in Hangzhou urban green space flower border,94 families and 224 genera are involved.The number of plants belong to Compositae and Gramineae is the most,with 28 and 24 species respectively.The number of plants belong to Liliaceae and Labiatae was followed by 18 and 12 species respectively.The rest of top ten families which plants were used are: Caprifoliaceae,Araceae,Verbenaceae,Oleaceae,Rosaceae and Scrophulariaceae.(4)Combining with the individual cases analysis of different types of flower border in Hangzhou urban green space,design strategies are proposed from 8 aspects including site selection,theme design,graphic design,facade design,color design,the seasonal design,the background and foreground design.And the 108 plant materials suitable for Hangzhou flower border were recommended.
