Research On The Plants Selection And Application Of Road Flower Border In Chengdu

With the accelerating progress of urbanization in China,constantly improving of the expectation and appreciation level of the urban residents to the current urban green space landscape,especially the Urban road green space,high demands of plants allocation and design level were required.Flower border,which originated in the West,as an emerging form of plant configuration,had been appearing in the garden green spaces of developed cities in China in recent years.It showed important significance to improving the level of Chengdu urban road landscape by the way of reasonable plant selection and design makes the flower e border play a greater role in urban road green space.Through reading a large number of domestic and foreign literatures on road greening and flower border,this paper summarized the development process,classification and plant landscape beauty evaluation methods of flower and road flower border.Meanwhile,At the same time,in the course of more than one year,the field survey of Chengdu road green space was carried out,and representative road flower points were selected as research objects to carry out the integration analysis of plant resources.Frist use the plant landscape beauty evaluation to analyze and evaluate the road flower points,obtain the SBE values through the evaluation of the professional group and the non-professional group volunteers,then analyze and summarize the advantages and disadvantages of the configurations.Finally,the design contents and strategies of urban road flower border landscape were put forward with the hope to be able to provide guidance and help the future Chengdu road flower landscape design.Findings were as follows:(1)With the survey of Chengdu road green space,selecting 25 representative road flowers to comprehensive analysis,the results showed that the applying plant varieties of Chengdu road flowers are 113 species,among them,61 species of herbs,34 species of shrubs,27 species of arbor,3 species of ferns bamboo and vines;63 species of native plants,about 48.1%of them were used.Through the analysis of the number characteristics,species diversity and application frequency of plant varieties in the floral environment,the results show that the majority of plant communities in the floral environment of Chengdu city are shrubs and perennial herbaceous plants.The average value of Shannon-wiener index of all 25 plots was 2.04,and only 10 plots reached this average level,while the average value of Shannon-wiener index of 18 plots reached 2.57.Is the highest of all 25plots;The 30 plants with the highest application frequency in Chengdu were summarized and analyzed,including 11 perennial herbaceous plants,12 shrubs,6 arbor plants and 1fern plant.Rhododendron pulchrum(13 times),Viola tricolor(13 times),Nandina domestica(11 times)and Loropetalum chinense(11 times)in the 25 points were more than10 times.(2)In the classification ranking,the comprehensive standardized values of the four categories of road flower boundary as follows:Traffic island flower boundary>Pedestrian zone green zone>Central separation zone>Road side green zone flower boundary;Based on the decomposition of flower landscape elements,the model for predicting the beauty of road flower landscape was established by using IBM SPSS 19.0 software:Y1 represents color diversity,Y2 represents plane structure,Y3 represents garden sketch,and Y4 represents plant species diversity.(3)Through the plant landscape beauty degree evaluation concluded that the excellent flowers habitat,summarizes its plant configuration mode and design key points,discusses the design principle of city road flowers habitat landscape selection principles and design principle for plants,plants selection principle,including ecological,diversity and local sexual selection,design principles should include road flowers habitat"unification and change","harmony and contrast","excessive and echo","observe and entourage of","rhythm and rhyme","proportion and scale"and so on several aspects;In order to provide some valuable Suggestions and opinions for the future construction of the flower border of Chengdu city,the reconstruction design of four kinds of flower border areas,including no.5,no.21,no.22 and no.1,with poor landscape effect and low evaluation scores,was carried out.
