Combined with the border designcase and practice to analyze the application of flower border design, providing reference forborder applications of Fujian. This paper mainly has the following several aspects:(1)Discuss the basic theory of flower border. Through the analysis of the concept andcharacteristics of flower border,give a summary to flower border.Take a further reaserch onthe classification of flower border, the difference to other flower application form, theresearch status at home and abroad, The types and ornamental characteristics.(2) Do the investigation of flower border resources in Fujian province. Through the fieldinvestigation, combined with plant growth adaptability and ornamental effect, to statistic andarrange border plant species that suitable for Fujian province. The statistics of the borderplants has225kinds, which Including35biennial flowering plants,31perennial floweringplants,59bulbous flowering plants,47Perennial plants,52Woody plant, Involving74families165genera and225species.(3) Enrich the theoretical basis of the flower border application. Combined with Fujiangreen garden application of flower border, analyzing flower border plants selection and borderlocation; Preliminary exploration and research on the flower border application with the ruleof form beauty.
