Research On Spatial Form And Cognitive Behavior Of Lanxi Ancient Town Based On Spatial Syntax

Based on the theory and technical method of spatial syntax,this paper selects Lanxi ancient town in Yiyang as the main case,introduces the urban image element,and combines the axis map with the image map.The evolvement characteristics of spatial form of ancient towns and the relationship between spatial cognitive behavior patterns of different spatial users and spatial forms are analyzed quantitatively.At the same time,from the single ancient town research subject to the Hunan Province different typical characteristics of the comparative analysis of ancient towns,This paper analyzes the universality and particularity of the reasons for the formation of the spatial characteristics of ancient towns in different geographical environments and different cultural historical backgrounds in Hunan Province.The main conclusions of the thesis include:(1)The evolution mechanism of ancient town spatial form is a process of coexistence of many modes.The evolution of ancient town spatial form involves the expansion of space scale,the increase of spatial land type,the reconstruction of spatial fabric and the transformation of spatial function.These spatial content change patterns are not single or fixed,and change in specific environment and time stage.(2)The temporal and spatial distribution of town form is the function and form of mutual adaptation.The evolution of spatial form is the form of adaptation process,temporal and spatial distribution of town space is a function of morphological adaptation results.The development of the ancient town space often exhibit obvious aggregation and dispersion characteristics,its essence is the performance of the town function and space form each other role.(3)The cognitive behavior of spatial users is the basis of the interaction between form and function.The perception ability of spatial users to their spatial image elements is different,showing the significant correlation between spatial quantized topological structure and the distribution of human flow.It is further explained that the cognitive behavior model is the basis of the interaction between spatial form and function in ancient towns.This study provides a new technical method and research perspective for the research and development of the spatial form of the traditional ancient towns in the process of rapid urbanization.It is a quantitative analysis from a single perception description to a depth,which is the protection of the traditional ancient towns in Hunan Province.The research of renewal and planning provides powerful technical means and enlightenment,and it is a different attempt to analyze the spatial form and spatial cognition of ancient towns.
