Research On Morphological Characteristics And Optimization Of Xinchang Ancient Town Based On Spatial Syntax

Xinchang Ancient Town is a regional trade center-type Bashu Ancient Town developed from Market Town,which has been listed as "a famous historical and cultural town in China".In this paper,the spatial form of Xinchang Ancient Town is analyzed quantitatively by using mathematics and computer technology in spatial syntax theory,and the spatial structure of Xinchang Ancient Town is explored more rationally and objectively.On this basis,the ancient town of Bashu sample with grey relational degree is selected for quantitative analysis,and the similarities and differences in spatial form are compared horizontally.Sex,in order to provide reference for the research and protection of the texture of ancient towns in Bashu.According to the above research contents,the research results of this paper are as follows:1.Through the study of the historical process and present spatial form of Xinchang Ancient Town,we find its unique features: multi-cultural integration,the landscape style of the combination of Chinese and Western,and the texture of the town according to local conditions.The old street in Xinchang Ancient Town has the best sense of encapsulation in space scale.People are more relaxed and intimate in the street space of the main street and have a sense of security.The DH ratio in the core area of the old town is easy to attract people's attention within the scope of the shops,which conforms to the basic pattern of the market town.2.Based on the spatial syntax theory,this paper makes a quantitative analysis of Xinchang Ancient Town from the whole to the local level.The overall layout of Xinchang Ancient Town is a combination of tree-like and ring-like,with clear relationship structure,clear street and lane streamlines and endless roads.The core area of town has high comprehensibility and good spatial permeability.However,some marginal areas are relatively quiet,which does not reflect the layout intention of up-and-down circulation.In the later stage of development and protection,we should make use of the important nodes with humanistic and historical background in the endspace to promote the vitality of the surrounding space.We should also consider the blending of traditional residential culture and tourism commercial culture,improve the layout of functional areas of towns,so that Xinchang ancient town can not only meet the needs of local residents' life and production,but also bear the pressure of tourist flow.3.Bashu Ancient Town(Enyang Ancient Town and Xianshi Ancient Town)with grey correlation degree with Xinchang Ancient Town is selected as the horizontal comparison object.According to the quantitative index data,the conclusions are as follows: First,the spatial structure of the town is basically different due to the differences of natural environment,political economy and cultural customs;second,the spatial pattern of the three ancient towns is also quite different.Suitable measures to local conditions arisen in the ancient developed water transport industry,with good traffic accessibility and high spatial comprehensibility;thirdly,market towns take commercial districts as the core area of integration;fourthly,the integration of the fringe zones of the three ancient towns is the lowest area of the whole town,so that the function of the end space should be recreated according to the actual situation,so as to make the pace and order of the town proper.
