Public Preference Of Typical Plant Communities In Urban Parks

In recent years,with the increasing demand for outdoor activities of the public,the construction of urban parks is in full swing.Plant landscapes are the landscape elements that account for the most in the park and their public satisfaction evaluation has received increasing attention.Researches on plant communities in China are mostly limited to the structure of plant communities,ecological benefits and aesthetic evaluation,and there are few studies on the public’s preference for plant communities based on public perspectives.Based on the plant community of the encircling city—wall park in Hefei as the research object,12 typical plant community,in a lot of reading literature and,on the basis of fieldwork to sample,to build the evaluation index system of plant community public preference,in the form of questionnaire to obtain basic data,using SPSS 23.0 statistical software,analysis of typical plant communities of hefei city park public spring landscape preference.There is no significant difference in the public’s overall preference for plant communities in terms of gender,professional background,education level,and monthly income.There is a slight difference in age,which is reflected in the higher level of preference of the elderly due to their upright posture in the Metasequoia community and cedar community.The public’s preference for different plant communities in hefei huancheng park varies.The preference scores for the 12 plant communities were rated between 1.77 and 4.34,with a preference for a higher group score between 4.15 and 4.34,with a lower preference group rating between 1.77-2.12.The main factors influencing the public preference are: staying expectation,viewing level,ornamental color,planting density,attraction and so on.On the basis of the above research,Suggestions for building community of the neighbours are put forward.Based on the investigation and analysis of the typical plant communities of hefei ring park,exploration can meet the demand of the public preference of plant community to build model,for the construction of city park plant community provides the theoretical basis,to help build more popular with the public of the plant community landscape.
