Research On Interior Design Method Of Railway Passenger Station Building Space In China

In 1881,China's first railway--Tangshan to Xugezhuang was completed.And then the first Railway Passenger Station,Tangshan Railway Passenger Station,was completed in 1882.Throughout the development history of China's railways for more than 100 years,the Railway Passenger Station has evolved from a simple stop site to a public building space that provides railway passengers with a comfortable ride and drop service,and today it is a large-scale transportation hub that integrates multiple transportation methods and urban functions.Along with the change of architectural function and form,the interior design of railway passenger station also presents rich and colorful personality characteristics.This paper finds that the interior design of railway passenger station not only integrates the commonness of interior design of public buildings,but also has the unique imprint of railway transportation.The interior design experienced Eclectic Style of Modern period,Soviet style,and standardized styles along with the migration of history.After the founding of the People's Republic,the national new style and Lingnan style with decorativeism was formed,and after the reform and opening-up,the modernist style and the style with regional characteristics have developed into a new style with modernist characteristics,focusing on function and service,integrating with the local characteristics of the regional style,focusing on ecological landscape design features and individual stations restoring the former features style.The research of this paper is mainly divided into two parts.First,from the historical point of view,the research method of history belt is adopted to select the typical design cases of railway passenger station in different periods,so as to study the characteristics of the interior design and the law of development and change of the railway passenger station in our country.The design style and development context of the interior design of our railway passenger station are revealed,showing the laws and characteristics of its development and change.Secondly,explore the method of designing the interior interface,furniture and furnishings of Railway Passenger Stations,enrich the theoretical research on the interior design of Railway Passenger Stations in China,and find out strategies and methods suitable for the interior design of contemporary Railway Passenger Stations in China,hoping to create for passengers a better entrance and waiting environment.
