Railway passenger hub station is the cross point of the various transport modes, the various urban transport are connecting to railway including autobus,taxi,car,bicycle and so on, which are unable to satisfy the passengers 'demand of concentration and dispersal in peak hour that trains arrived. In order to solve this problem, the rail transits are built to connect the railway transportation. After having joined rail transit, the passengers will choose which modes to transfer that need to study, how to dispose the transport capacity of rail transit and original transport modes is reasonable, which has become the problem need to be solved. Based on this, the paper has study on the mode of passenger choosing the traffic modes in railway passenger hub stationForm the angle of passenger choosing transfer modes the paper ensured the scope of study. The paper study the behaviors characteristics for passengers choosing traffic modes, including the analysis of railway passengers hub,the time trait of passengers arrive and depart the station and transfer the psychological feature. The paper has the conclusion that the passengers' travel has close relation to the time of train arrive and depart station based on HanKou train station and WuChang train station.Based on above analysis, the paper has research on how passengers to choose the traffic modes after join the hypothesized traffic mode for the realistic situation of rail transit connected to railway transport. According to the principle of RP survey and SP survey, the paper has designed the method of RP and SP survey. The paper took two methods to analyses, first unifies the merit of RP data and SP data, established the model of traffic mode choices in urban railway passenger hub based on combined RP/SP data, and confirmed the model by RP/SP data from HanKou train station, the result demonstrated that the model of combined RP/SP data is more reasonable than RP data or SP data; Then analyzed the RP/SP data by factor analysis and extracted factor variables and rotated orthogonal factor applied SPSS statistical software by using principal component analysis then acquired the scores of factor variables. The variable scores were regressed on level 0.05 by the method of Logistic regression. The model of influencing factors about urban rail transit for passengers in urban railway passenger hub is established. The influencing weight and operational mechanism of factors that influence the choice are obtained, and confirmed the model by RP/SP data from HanKou train station.Finally the paper studied the transfer coordination from the internal transfer infrastructure in railway passenger hub station,the capacity matching and the operation time between railway transport and urban transport and so on. The paper forecasted the capacity disposing of various traffic modes by the model considers the factors of time reliability,capability,operation cost and exterior cost of the transport mode and the income level of the traveler, the result was consistent with the above models' result.
