The Chinese Government's policy document?Several Opinions on Further Strengthening Urban Planning and Construction Management ? pointed out that “ increase policy support and strive to use 10 years or so,so that the proportion of prefabricated buildings in newly constructed buildings will reach 30%.The government will actively and steadily promote steel structures.The implementation of this policy has enabled the rapid development of light steel structure plants.The determination of a reasonable construction and installation plan is the key content of the construction management of the light steel structure plant.For selection of construction plan,the weight of the indicator is reasonable and scientifically determined,which is directly related to the correctness of the comparison and selection of the construction and installation scheme of the light steel structure plant.The traditional light steel structure plant installation plan selection index weighting method often takes the “decision maker” experience and subjective tendency as the sole consideration.This method of determining the index weights lacks scientific basis and can no longer meet the needs of the selection and installation of light steel structure plants.This article discusses the use of the FD method and the entropy method to determine the weight of the comparison index,and then objectively and comprehensively compare the options,and has conducted empirical application.Decision makers are generally used to describe the relative importance of indicators in natural language.They have the advantages of easy expression and easy decision making,and are in line with people's thinking habits.The FD(0-4)method solves the problem of converting natural language into weighted data.The entropy method modifies the weights.The following conclusions are obtained in the application:(1)The premise of the FD(0-4)method and the entropy method to assign index weights is to establish a reasonable and scientific index selection system.Without a reasonable index selection system,weighting indicators will become meaningless.(2)The FD(0-4)law classifies the importance of indicators into four levels(very important,more important,equally important,not important).The division of this level is expressed in natural language.The use of natural language is more convenient for subjective judgement ofthe relative importance of indicators by experts and technical managers of light steel structures.The FD(0-4)method is more effective in solving the problem of converting natural language into basic weight data.(3)The FD(0-4)method can make full use of relevant “expert” professional knowledge and experience,and the entropy method can use objective information of decision-making objects.The combination of the two makes the subjective information of decision makers and the objective information of decision objects unify.(4)The weighting method has great applicability.This method not only plays a role in the comparison and selection of light steel structure plants,but it is still applicable to any other projects within the applicable scope of the FD method and the entropy method.Based on the above conclusions,the combination of the FD method and the entropy method is a scientific,reasonable and practical method for weighting indicators.It is hoped that they can be applied in engineering practice.
