Research On The Optimization Of Bicycle Road Network System In The Old City Of Xi’an Under The Guidance Of Street Space Quality

As a historical and cultural city,the old town of Xi’an still maintains a relatively regular traditional style of ancient China.However,with the rapid development of the city,the internal traffic in the old town has become overwhelmed,which has hindered the sustainable development of urban transport.Bicycle,as a fast and economic way of travelling,has strong advantages in terms of short-distance travel and public transport connections,and there is still a big space for development.The current bicycle transportation system in the old town of Xi’an is still not perfect.In the previous urban planning and construction process,the top-down approach was adopted,and it was attached to the construction of motorized traffic.Bicycle has not received enough attention,resulting in the occupation of the parking space of bicycle and a low level of happiness when riding a bicycle.This thesis attempts to analyze the relationship between the quality of street space and the impact of bicycle from the perspective of the needs of users,explore the characteristics of cyclists’ choices,and build a street space quality based on the status quo.The bicycle traffic distribution method will in turn guide bicycle path selection and traffic allocation,and improve the road network system in the old town of Xi’an.First of all,analyzing the bicycle network system from China and abroad,the quality of street and the theoretical research and practice related to the relationship between the two,and review the current research focus and deficiencies.Secondly,clarifying the elements of space riding in the streets of the old town,and using certain technical means to crawl the current status of bicycles in the region and analyzing the bicycle traffic in each traffic area.Combined with the status survey and the situation of traffic contribution and analyzing and summarizing the existing problems and causes of the bicycle road network system in the old town of Xi’an.Thirdly,an optimization strategy is proposed based on the analysis of the problems and causes,and the street space quality evaluation system and the bicycle traffic distribution method based on street space quality are constructed by analyzing the influence mechanism of street space and bicycle,and the optimization principle of the bicycle road network system is defined.Relevant technical indicators provide certain guidance and basis for road network optimization in the old town of Xi’an.Finally,the necessity of optimizing the bicycle road network system in the old town of Xi’an was demonstrated.Then,according to the evaluation system of street space quality,the weight of each element was determined,and combined with the investigation results of the current status of the elements,the value of street space quality of the old city was evaluated.The space-quality bicycle distribution method calculates the traffic flow of each street,and the distribution of the bicycle road network structure in the old city is optimizd,and concrete transformation methods and recommendations for bicycle lanes is proposed.
