Study On Kunming Contemporary Architecture Of The Character And Feature With The Typology Perspective

The macroscopic urban architecture is a huge man-made object,which can fully embody the technology and civilization of mankind.In ancient times,due to the geographical factors in different parts of the world,relatively independent between cultural blocks,thus developed a distinctive urban architecture,which reflects the different development mode formed by the different results.In the modern era,urban architecture has gradually developed into a unified direction,and the definition of architectural feature is changing quietly,which is the breaking of cultural barriers in the world caused by the upgrading of production mode.Design culture,construction technology,material application and other construction process convergence,resulting in some cities gradually separated from the original construction context.At present,how to redefine the feature of urban architecture has aroused our attention.The existing researches and practices in China mainly focus on the design and transformation of the visual level.Focus on the color of the building,the traditional architectural symbol,traditional materials and local architectural form,etc.,there are some successful cases,but most of the practice is not enough,the appropriate simple "putting on his hat and coat" brought irreversible damage to the urban construction.Architectural typology theory thinks the city by the: character,location,memory and design itself,this thesis studies from the simple visual elements from,through description of construction is building character,and then discuss the feature definition.Architectural character is one of the ways to describe the irrational part of architecture,which can make up for the ambiguity of language.In this thesis,Kunming is the object of study,and it is hoped that the architectural feature of this city will be re-understood from the perspective of architectural character.Behind the physical facts of urban construction is the social memory,which is the cause of building character and the description of the architectural spirit level.In this thesis through the architectural typology study found in Kunming city has: inside collect,tolerance,simple and leisurely four main character,and as a basis to explore the feature of modern architecture design method in Kunming.
