This paper takes the axial clearance of four row tapered roller bearings as the researchobject.In order of solving the problems of the low efficiency of the axial clearance measurement and the inconvenient repair of the clearance in the process of manufacturing and product testing,after analyzing the successful schemes at home and abroad?the technical requirements of the enterprises and the characteristics of the bearings,we develop the measuring device.The main contents of the study are as follows:After studying the common measuring method of four row tapered roller bearings,the integral measurement method and the split measurement method,the principle of equipment measurement is put forward in combination with the structure of the bearing and the bearing characteristics of the bearing.The principle makes the problem of repairing space ring become measuring clearance.With the inner ring position adjusting device,it makes the bearing into 3 groups of double row tapered roller bearing which radial clearance is obtained by measuring the displacement of outer ring after driving the inner ring and loading radial force for outer ring.On the basis of the principle of measurement and the combination of experience design and computer aided design,the whole plan of measuring equipment is proposed.The machine take a vertical structure,which consists of the positioning device,the inner ring axial position adjusting device,the lifting device,the inner ring driving device,the axial loading device,the sensor measuring device,the frame and other auxiliary devices.According to the technical requirements of the enterprise,the design of the measuring equipment is completed further,including the structure design,calculation and selection of the mechanical structure components,the 2D and 3D drawings of the equipment.With the finite element software,ANSYS workbench,the rationality and reliability of the design are verified.The three-dimensional contact state of the tapered roller bearing after loading is simulated,and the reasonableness of the loading force is verified by the contact deformation analysis.Static analysis of mechanical parts under the maximum loading force is carried out to check whether the strength and rigidity meet the design requirements.The modal analysis of the frame structure is carried out,and the reasonable speed of the driving motor and the servo motor is guided according to its mode shapes and natural frequencies.Taking the 382930X2 four row tapered roller bearing with inner diameter 150 mm as the tested bearing,the axial clearance test of the equipment after commissioning is carried out.According to the analysis of the experimental data,the accuracy of the measurement result and the accuracy of the measurement is evaluated,the overall evaluation of the measuring equipment is obtained.
