The proposal of the national central city has made the construction of Xi'an a new stage,which has once again led to the return of people's horizons to the integration of Xi'an and Xian.However,the development of the integrated transport system of Xi'an and Xi'an has not been effective.Adapt to the rapid development of the economy.At the same time,at present,China's research on regional inter-city transportation planning cannot accurately reflect the actual travel needs of inter-city traveler groups.Therefore,how to further improve the formulation of inter-city inter-city transportation demand policy needs to be studied.This paper closely combines the development status of interurban public transportation in China and the national target of public transportation priority development,based on a multi-way combination of public transport in the context of urban development.Through reasonable the survey design and survey organization effectively captured the inter-city trips of inter-city public transport passengers and set up an inter-city travel database.Based on the theory of random utility,four types of intercity public transport mode selection utility models were established to explore the selection behavior of passengers traveling in and out of Xixian City.This paper analyzes the characteristics of typical multi-mode travel modes based on inter-city public transportation,and further explores the relevance of the connection choice between the starting city and the destination city.Using the Mixed Logit utility model framework,combined with inter-city travel data,it further reveals the selection mechanism of passengers' multi-mode combination travel modes that are dominated by intercity buses.Finally,it discusses the value of applying the model of choice of inter-city travel selection method to the integration of Xi'an and Xianyang.The results of the study indicate that passengers have the highest probability of intercity bus selection in the Xi'an-Xi'an inter-city passenger transport mode,which is up to 85%.In West-Britain-based cities,which are dominated by public transportation,there are a variety of options for connection,and there are a total of 15 types of inter-city travel modes that are based on inter-city buses.The result of the selection of utility models from the whole process of inter-city trips shows that,for inter-city intercity transit passengers with intercity transit,the attributes of the trip characteristics and the perception of traffic supply are better than the social and economic attributes of the passengers.The effect is even more pronounced.At the same time,there are constraints between the choice of the mode of connection between the city of departure and the city of destination.For the factor of consumption during connection,passengers are more sensitive to consumption during the connection process in the destination city than to the connection process in the city of the origin.At the same time,passengers are more sensitive to consumption of motor vehicles than non-motor vehicles..Since the choice of the connection method in the destination city is more unique than that in the city of origin,the influence of the distance range factor in the city on the choice of the connection method in the destination city is more significant.To sum up,the model of the inter-city travel mode selection and utility model established in this paper can help improve the optimization strategy for the Xi'an-Xiamen integrated travel mode,and promote the completion of the Xi'an-Xiamen traffic integration goal.
