With the development of economy,urbanization and industrialization,mankind is facing an increasingly severe water crisis.Textile and apparel industry is an important traditional pillar industry in China,which has certain advantages in international competition,and it is also improving the demand and pulling effect of other industries.At the same time,the problems of water consumption and sewage in the textile and clothing industry also make it the main rectification object for pollution control.In the development of economic benefits and environmental issues,it is particularly important to focus on the sustainable relationship between production,trade and environment.Water footprint is a tool for evaluating water resource consumption.In recent years,it has been used to calculate and evaluate the consumption of water resources in various industries.Based on literature review,this paper reviewed the main research results of input-output method in economic and environmental problems,analyzed its application status in textile and garment industry and summarized it.Through on-the-spot investigation,expert interview and enterprise practice,the introduction of industry water consumption factors,establish a complete water footprint model,through calculation and analysis of textile and garment industry in 1997-2012 water footprint,induction degree coefficient and influence coefficient between industries,put forward several to balance the economic development of textile and clothing industry and the optimization of water saving and emissions reduction plan;Selected the typical case study of the enterprise,enterprise water resource input-output table,the data obtained from 2014 to 2016,using the method of LCA and IO two water footprint of the enterprise are calculated,and the calculated results are compared and analyzed.The following are the main findings:? Construction of complete water footprint model in textile and garment industry.After analyzing the research status of the input-output method in the textile and clothing industry,the previous researches on the water footprint level of the textile and apparel products are more,and the industry level is less concerned.Some scholars have calculated the direct water footprint of the industry.However,due to the characteristics of LCA,the indirect water footprint is not considered.The accounting results of the industry water footprint are not complete.Therefore,based on the thought and calculation method of input and output,puts forward the concept of complete water footprint,introducing the correlation coefficient,using the correlation function,built water footprint model completely,fill in the blank in the research of predecessors,perfect the accounting system of textile and clothing industry water footprint.? The application of complete water footprint model in textile and garment industry.Use of the national bureau of statistics in 1997,2002,2007,2012 input-output table of China,issued by the China environment yearbook,"China environmental bulletin,China environment statistical yearbook,respectively calculate the textile and clothing industry in each of the water footprint.Based on the internal development of the industry,external market and international situation,the evolution of water footprint of textile and garment industry is analyzed and explained.Using the method of input and output to the department in the production of the materials consumption calculation and evaluation method of value,the introduction of direct water footprint consumption coefficient and the total water footprint consumption coefficient,then calculate the 42 industry water footprint water footprint induction degree coefficient,influence coefficient and industry found that textile and garment industry the influence of water on the development of other industries is larger,at the same time,the development of national economy needed water has great influence of the textile and garment industry.Textile and garment industry to the chemical industry,agriculture and the wholesale and retail establishments of the pulling effect of water footprint and water footprint of the three industry to rely on strength of the water footprint is very significant,textile garment industry indicates that the development of these three kinds of industrial water consumption demand will be more sensitive to changes in water caused the textile garment industry.? The system puts forward the industry development and policy Suggestions that give consideration to economic development and water-saving and energy conservation and emission reduction.According to the results of the calculation data,through the analysis of water,textile and garment industry and the relationship between industry closely related situation of water consumption,various industries of the relationship between economic development and water resources consumption,put forward a quantifiable and easy to operate both economic development and water saving,energy saving and emission reduction for the industry development and provide guidance for the establishment of environmental policies and regulations.? Application and analysis of complete water footprint model in textile and apparel enterprises.Complete water footprint model based on industry,the use of input and output of ideas,build enterprise water input-output table,the attempt at the enterprise level of case study object of water footprint to calculate,and compared with calculated results by LCA method,the results show that by IO method to calculate the water footprint of enterprise is more accurate and reasonable,but the whole is greater than the data results through the LCA method to calculate the results.At the same time,using the uncertainty analysis,it is concluded that the data accuracy and correlation are better in this study,which indicates that the calculated results based on the data used are of higher quality.
