The excavator operation energy consumption by the walking,turning and other parts,of which slewing gear energy accounts for 40%.Therefore,The energy saving rotary mechanism in the excavator slewing mechanism is quite important.Axial piston motors,which have large displacement,high torque and low noise,etc.,are widely used in the excavator rotary mechanism.The traditional two and three windows structure has been developed into a single controllable four windows structure.Four-port windows axial piston motor as a new actuator,it is for excavators and other similar rotating machinery provides a new energy-saving approach.The Rotary system using traditional hydraulic accumulator as an auxiliary component,with the corresponding work flow with the corresponding ports to recover the braking energy and release them in second starting.According to the existing platform of 15 T traditional excavators to start the study,and refer to the basic structure of the piston motor and motion principle.Firstly,a general simulation model of axial piston motor was built by Amesim,meanwhile,the rationality model and the influence of each parameter on the motor performance are verified.Secondly,reasonably design the structure of the distribution-plate windows with a three-slot groove relief structure,which can effectively reduce the pressure impact and vibration.Finally,the four-flow windows axial piston motor simulation model and the excavator slewing mechanism model were established.In this paper,the parameters of the rotary platform model and the parameters of the plunger motor model,as well as the accumulator and the transition triangular groove are calculated.Respectively,in a single port fuel supply start,energy recovery brake,accumulator auxiliary start,these three conditions for simulation.The relevant pressure and flow characteristics of the piston motor in different conditions was got,and the energy recovery and energy release of the accumulator were verified.In order to better validate the theoretical model,research team trial prototype and conducted a simple performance test.The experimental results show that theprinciple of the four-flow window axial piston motor is correct,but prototype leaks and accuracy are not ideal,prototypes need to be improved.
