With the development of electronic transformers,merging units,intelligent circuit breakers and computer network technology,substation process level equipment has undergone profound changes.It is the widely use of IEC61850 standard in the field of substation automation that makes the traditional process level equipment tends digital,intelligent and standardized.However,in the aspects of interoperability,communication interface and communication protocol compatibility,it is difficult for the traditional internal monitoring and control devices to adapt to the intelligent changes of the process level equipment.In order to meet the development trend of digital substation,it is of practical significance to study and design the communication and control system of IEC61850 standard.This paper mainly investigates the information model of the interval monitoring and control device and the Ethernet communication.On one hand,the communication part is the MMS communication between the interval monitoring and protection device and the station control level monitoring host.On the other hand,the GOOSE communication of the bay level monitoring and protection device is realized,which is suitable for the high time interval lock and trip signal.Firstly,the development of intelligent substation in China is introduced,and the information model and modeling steps of IEC61850 are described.Secondly,according to the application requirements of the monitoring and protection device,the function analysis of the interval monitoring and control device is carried out.The information modeling is carried out by using the XML technology in the object-oriented modeling method.Then,in the uClinux embedded system,Libiec61850 open source library has been cross-platform transplanted.Through secondary development,MMS communication and servicefunctions of IEC61850 standard has been achieved.Besides,on the basis of analyzing the GOOSE communication protocol stack,the establishment of the GOOSE message PDU and the design of the publisher communication program are realized.Finally,the IEDScout software and monitoring and control devices are used to build the communication interconnection system to verify the correctness of the information model.The communication process of MMS and GOOSE messages is analyzed by Wireshark software to verify the correctness of the communication.In addition,the measurement platform used by OMICRON CMC356 tests the sampling accuracy of the sampled values and verifies the effectiveness of the protection function.
