Over the past ten years,the rapid development of urbanization in China has brought about the development of motorization,promoting the prosperity and development of cities,but also bringing about urban problems such as noise pollution,waste gas pollution and road congestion.As a part of urban traffic,walking plays an important role in promoting the development of urban green transportation system.In order to deal with the above problems,many scholars think that developing walking in cities is a good strategy to promote urban sustainable development.How to promote the development of walking in the urban traffic system by improving the built environment is an important research direction.Therefore,combined with the survey of urban development in Hexi area of Nanjing,this paper makes an in-depth study of urban land use and spatial morphology,in order to explore the relationship between urban land use and residents' travel mode choice,and guide the city towards walking friendly development.Based on the review of related theories,combined with the related examples of walking friendly urban construction both at home and abroad,it is considered that land use patterns and urban spatial morphology have certain effects on walking travel.Through further research and comparison of walking related evaluation system,the author selected potential model based model as the analysis in this article,through the weighted average travel time to measure the accessibility,and based on the traditional pedestrian detour coefficient of development of regional integrated routing coefficient,and coefficient of detour accessibility and two indexes as quantitative the evaluation index of evaluation system is established on foot.The quantitative analysis of urban data is done by using Arc GIS software,so as to evaluate the impact of urban road system,land use pattern and pedestrian facility layout on Residents' walking.Secondly,this paper makes a survey on the status quo of Hexi region city evaluation index,through the established evaluation system in Hexi area of Nanjing city pedestrian friendly degree of choice,and combined with the investigation of resident trip mode,using SPSS mathematical software reliability index of correlation was tested and verified with high density and high degree of mixing,high accessibility and open street environment has good promoting effect on walking.Combined with the results of relevant analysis and investigation,the optimization suggestions for promoting the friendship degree of Hexi walking are put forward.Finally,combined with the research on the relevant development mode of the city,based on the relevant indicators verified above,the analysis model is built,and the development mode of walking friendly street is explored,which provides data and development mode for other scholars and planners.
