The integrated planning of the city traffic system and land-use is the inevitablerequirement to ensure city sustainable and healthy development. The relevant departmentshave gradually focused on Urban transport and land use.People try to figure the interactionbetween the traffic system and land-use out, to seek the way of urban city sustainabledevelopment.Traffic generation forecast is a key linked to the process of land use and urban trafficsystem, in fact, domestic research time is not so long. Domestic and foreign research andapplication are always used the traditional method to forecast traffic generation rate,however the traditional method of traffic generation rate can only reflect the relationshipbetween a single factor and traffic volume, ignored the factors affecting the rate of trafficgenerated. In view of this, according to the rate of the traditional method, this researchtakes the influence factors of traffic accessibility into account, trying to reflect therelationship between transportation and land use reality.In this paper, the concept of accessibility is introduced in the process of forecasting thetraffic generation rate. Traffic accessibility is closely linked with the concept of land useand transportation system, this paper summarizes the traffic accessibility of traffic systemand the feedback of the relationship between land use and reviews the related literature atdomestic and overseas, analyzes the influencing factors of accessibility. Set up quantitativemethods of car travel accessibility and public transportation accessibility. Standardizationaccessibility data is calculated by the TransCAD.In this research three main types of buildings (residential area, comprehensivecommercial and office building) have been chosen as the research object in Tianjin, select35points to investigate the basic information, the residents travel information. statistic therates of four different travel purpose production,including home based work, home basedschool(comprehensive commercial and office building without the trip based schoolpurpose), home base other, and analyze the correlation between different travelpurpose production rate and traffic accessibility(car travel accessibility and publictransportation accessibility), then explain the result in theory. At last, set up themathematical model of traffic generated rate that considering the influence of theaccessibility, and use this model to forecast the traffic communities’ generation rateincluding residential, comprehensive commercial and office in Tianjin. The research resultson the one hand, improve the accuracy of the traffic generation forecast, on the other handprovide a reference for city traffic and land use planning.
