In recent years,with the rapid development of domestic regional rail transit such as intercity railway,however the construction of surrounding land along the stations is lagging,development levels are different as well.This paper quotes from 11 stations of Hankyu Senri Line which developed and operated by the Osaka’s private railway companies,after some basic research and statistical analysis,through a systematic analysis of the established land around the site and the index data then analyse the factors and mechanism of land index difference,to provide a reference for future development of the surrounding land of domestic inter-city railway or regional rail traffic.This thesis elaborated from three parts mainly:The first part is basic research.From the metropolitan railway network and its affect on land,Osaka land and industry structure,to the relationship between the station and the city,analyze the relationship and influence of Hankyu Senri Line’s surrounding land from big to small.This research found the development of private railway affects on the expansion of the metropolis circle,on the other hand,the development of private railway shares the responsibility of regional traffic circle passenger,promoting the commute and school.The second part is empirical statistical research,make a complete and systematic analysis of Hankyu Senri Line’s 11 stations.Include the surrounding land ratio,land-use structure(land-use hybrid index,similarity index)and development intensity(plot ratio,building density,the amount of building development)by field investigation,combined with GIS web site offered by Osaka planning department.And then analyze several major categories of land around the station systematacially.Analysis the characteristics and differences in indexes of land,Finally find out that the business,education,medical services,greenbelt and Industrial land present different characters.The third part of this paper is analysis based on empirical which expand and extend the last part,with quantitative analysis and further in-depth analysis the factors causing this development differences.This pointed out that the composition of traffic has an effect on spatial location commercial land development along the periphery of the site,showing different development characteristics;Education,medical services and greenbelt are most susceptible due to the urban location and composition of traffic,Urban location and the relationship between urban space,as well as transportation and connection,the proportion of the second industry affect the industrial land together.Based on above,the stations are divided into different kinds,and analyze mechanism of action of influential factor which between three different kinds of land around the stations.
