At present,most of gear reducer and worm reducer exists low transmission efficiency,huge quality,or big transmission ratio and the problem that the low mechanical efficiency.With the development of various industries,the demand for mechanical transmission mechanism is higher and higher.Demand for small size,large transmission ratio,high transmission efficiency,and large torque of the transmission mechanism is imperative.As a new type of cylindrical cam continuous drive mechanism,it has a large transmission ratio,small size,high transmission efficiency,stable transmission,etc.Study on the mechanism's research mainly concentrated in the structural design,intensity,parameterized modeling,kinematics simulation,etc.But the research on the regulation of load distribution,transmission error,the contact stress in the meshing process,is not much.This article will analysis effect the performance of the transmission by meshing roller number changes in the meshing process,and design the cam contour surface modification to improve the transmission quality.This dissertation main research content is as follows.First,according to the working principle of the mechanism,calculate the equation of cam surface,combining the conjugate surface theory and kinematics of rigid body.Then analyze effect the performance of the transmission by meshing roller number changes in the meshing process,and raise a question about meshing interference and snap loading,propose and designe the cylindrical convex contour surface modification method to solve the problem of meshing interference and snap loading.Second,establish finite element model in the finite element software ANSYS to analyze regulation of load distribution,contact stress,transmission error in a mesh cycle and the deformation about stress and elastic in enter-point and out-point.Then illustrate the necessity of the convex contour surface modification,put these regulations as the basis of convex contour surface modification effect.Third,design for the cylindrical convex contour surface modification methods,and optimize the modification curve.Calculate the contour surface equations and contact line equations of modified cam.Then establish the finite element analysis model to compare the convex contour surface modification effect on the transmission function of the mechanism.
