Program Design For Diesel Engine Safety Monitoring System

Marine diesel engine is the power source of ships.Its security and stability is the key to ensure the safety of ships operation.It may lead to the entire ship lose both power and control,cause huge economic loss and endanger the personal safety once a failure occurs.To ensure the safe operation of diesel engine,the real-time status of diesel engine need to monitored.When any alarm set point exceeds in the navigation of ships,the alarm is prompted by monitoring system.It is helpful to guide the crew in a timely to take positive and effective maintenance measures to eliminate the fault and avoid the alarm for further development.Therefore,developing a set of Marine diesel engine security monitoring system,has important engineering value.This paper carried out a security monitoring system software on Visual Studio 2008 platform by using the c # language.It was based on a medium speed Marine diesel engine with V12 cylinders as the prototype.The following contents are included in this paper:(1)The system software overall design is given after analysising the system and software function demand.(2)Combined with diesel engine security monitoring system database functional requirements,the overall structure of the system database was determined.By using bulk copy program to access the real-time database,and Spinning Door Transformation algorithm to compress the historical data to storage,achieve high real-time and efficient data management.(3)In this system,CCP protocol was used to monitor data acquisition and channel parameters calibration.The J1939 protocol was adopted for this system to communicate with ECU.(4)Designed the system HMI with modular thought by using control library in Visual Studio development platform.(5)Debugged and optimized the security monitoring system software,the results showed that this system satisfies the functional requirements.All in all,this diesel engine security monitoring system software improves ship navigation safety,reliability,economy and intelligent level.
