The Study Of Redesign And Utilize Abandoned Railway Inside City

With the optimization and upgrading of the China railway system,many railways are eliminated,and become industrial wasteland.Therefor,a large number of urban spaces are occupied,and become threats to traffics,and local communities.As the result,to research,recycle,and utilize these abandoned railways is inevitable.Based on the summary of related cases,and studies,with depth analysis of their applications,concepts,design style,and references.This study shows abandoned railways can be re-designed to industrial landscapes,utilize to post industrial relics,or add value to city constructions.This study is focused on ShanShen railways in Qinhuangdao,and provide the feasibility plan to recycle,and utilize the abandoned railway.Based on the investigation,survey,and samples,this study shows the railway can be modified to local activity center,and post industrial landscape.This study uses Chinese literature research,field research,comparative induction method,system integration method,and accordance with the concept of sustainable development,through study of the reconstruction of the abandoned railway.
