| With the rapid advancement of urbanization,the contradiction between supply and demand for educational facilities has become increasingly prominent.The main problems are insufficient supply of educational facilities,unbalanced spatial distribution,and shortage of quality education resources.Which lead to Social problems such as the separation of registered and actual residences,high-priced housing,and difficult entrance to school.Basic education facilities are an important part of urban public service facilities.Scientific and rational planning and management of primary and secondary schools not only helps to achieve the fairness and equalization of urban public service facilities,but also promotes the harmonious development of socialism.Based on a review of related studies on public service facilities and basic education facilities among domestic and overseas,this paper takes the spatial layout of education facilities,accessibility to education dicing,and coordination of supply and demand as the entry point for the basic education facilities in Nanshan,Shenzhen.The multi-disciplinary theories and methods such as geography,statistics,economics,mathematics,and urban planning are supplemented by GIS spatial analysis models and mathematical calculation models to analyze and evaluate the spatial layout、the accessibility of educational about the primary and secondary schools in Nanshan.The concept of supply and demand coordination degree was introduced to calculate and analyze the coordination degree values of supply and demand for primary and secondary schools on each street in Nanshan,and suggestions were made for the optimization of basic education facilities.At the spatial layout level,the number of basic education facilities is not balanced with the population ratio in Shenzhen,and the distribution of each area is quite different;the spatial distribution characteristics of the primary and secondary schools are not consistent with the spatial distribution characteristics of the population in each street of Nanshan,and they have a certain imbalances.In terms of accessibility to education dicing,the overall level of walking accessibility in primary and secondary schools is relatively general in Nanshan.There are certain differences between the streets and all have accessibility blank areas,and still much room for improvement in primary and secondary schools;primary schools’ education dicing in all the streets are relatively balanced under the qualified service radius.Nearly 75% of the primary schools are qualified for education dicing,and there is still a certain difference in the passing rate of education dicing from primary schools in the streets;Education dicing of secondary schools is relatively unbalanced,with only a passing rate of nearly 30%.The passing rate of education dicing from secondary schools is generally low,and the differences between streets are also relatively remarkable.In terms of supply and demand coordination,the overall supply and demand relationship between primary and secondary schools appears the state of “supply exceeds demand” in Nanshan.The coordinated development level of primary and secondary schools shows a good coordination stage,but there is a certain difference in the supply and demand performance among the various streets.First of all,the primary school appears the state of “demand exceeds supply” on all eight streets in Nanshan,indicating that there is much room for improvement in the supply and demand conditions of primary schools in each street.But there is a certain difference in coordination levels among the various streets,Shekou street is intermediate coordination,Nanshan,Zhaoshang and Taoyuan Streets are well-coordinated,Nantou,Shahe,Yuehai and Xili streets are excellent coordination;secondly,secondary schools show “supply over demand” on Nantou,Yuehai,and Xili streets,but other five streets show “supply exceeds demand” in Nanshan.Secondary schools have the worst performance in Nanshan and Taoyuan streets,and the coordination level is primary coordination.Shekou street performance is poor,and the coordination level is intermediate coordination.The follow-up of Nanshan should give priority to the construction of primary and secondary schools in Shahe and Shekou streets,as well as the construction of secondary school in Nanshan street.Based on the above analysis and research,this paper puts forward proposals to optimize the educational dicing and spatial layout of primary and secondary schools in Nanshan.In the aspect of planning,we should optimize the spatial layout by promoting the construction of new schools in the near-and far-term,so as to ensure the accessibility of primary and secondary schools,and improve the coordinated development of supply and demand;some high-quality private schools will be incorporated into educational dicing programs and microbuses will be opened to improve Primary and secondary school education dicing.In the aspect of education management,establish a model of “government-led,group-based school running,school alliance,and public participation” to promote the equitable allocation and equalization of quality education resources. |
