| Vehicle driving simulation is based on virtual reality,human-computer interaction technology,computer interface and multimedia technology for the study of humanvehicle-road interactions.It can accurately simulate the driving process of real driving feeling,such as visual,auditory,tactile,somatosensory,etc.,to give the driver an approximate real driving experience.The system is mainly used in automotive digital design and performance studies,driving behavior and psychological characteristics of research,road traffic simulation and driving training.The driving simulation system can perform tests and experiments in a virtual environment.Therefore,the virtual road test can be used to evaluate the design scheme in the concept and digital design phase of the vehicle,increasing the maturity of the research and development program,and reducing the cost and cycle of research and development.In addition,motion capture,eye tracker,brain-computer interface and other hardware can be used to study and analyze driver’s driving behavior and psychology in critical situations.Therefore,this paper completes the following work based on the six degree of freedom driving simulation system:1.According to the laser point cloud scan,we obtained the campus outline data of Chongqing University and established a virtual campus three-dimensional model.A virtual driving environment with a driving simulation system was set up,and a scene display was made with the HTC vive virtual helmet.2.DirectSound,an important component of the DirectX interface,is introduced.The simulation principle of the three-dimensional sound effects are analyzed,and a multi-channel three-dimensional sound simulation system for vehicle driving simulation is set up.3.Using MIT’s HRTF database,through the matlab programming to complete the three-dimensional virtual sound source positioning and "standard virtual surround sound",with headphones to achieve a three-dimensional surround sound playback.4.Using the NI PXI real-time machine and Carsim software,a real-time vehicle dynamics settlement model of the driving simulation system was established,and the setting of various performance parameters was completed.According to the laser point cloud data,the virtual road reconstruction of the main campus of Chongqing University was completed.5.Based on the motion control system already established in the laboratory,the motion control algorithm was programmed by using LabVIEW,and the Panasonic servo motor was controlled using the PCI-1285 motion control card.Based on the driving simulation system,through the development of the above research work,the visual system and the three-dimensional sound system were basically completed,and the system performance simulation experiments were performed. |
