A Study On Landscape Awareness In Ancient Villages Of Northern Shaanxi Area

Ancient villages which still home people to this day are considered cultural relics/artifacts of the past and are the gene base of Chinese culture.The landscape consciousness in the ancient villages,which contains a wealth of wisdom from the people that adapts to the natural environment,embodies people’s understanding of nature and life in the farming age.With the development of the times,ancient villages have faded out of people’s vision.However,their unique,quiet and peaceful living environment still shows great charm and reminds people of their ancestors’ perspective of landscape consciousness.It also makes people analyze the excellent landscape construction methods and discover the outline of respecting nature in these villages.This is the key aspect in understanding the reason why ancient villages have stood for generations and provides an important reference to contemporary construction.The ancient villages in Northern Shaanxi Province,because of the variety of regional topography and the unique culture of multi ethnic blend,are the foundation of building homes with profound humanistic and simple and practical aesthetic vision,and with their own barren natural conditions,gradually formed the village landscape style with the unique style of Northern Shaanxi for many years.An important part of the protection and development of ancient villages in China.At present,in the study of ancient villages in Northern Shaanxi,building protection occupies a major position,and the construction of landscape environment has not been given enough attention.In addition,because of its complex topography,fragile ecological environment and backward economic level,in order to get rid of the current situation of poverty quickly,people have abandoned the original ecological landscape space layout in the village construction,causing "one thousand village side",and the original space form is gradually damaged and covered.Therefore,it is an urgent task to study the construction ideas and principles of ancient villages in Northern Shaanxi.In this study,through the analysis of the landscape construction wisdom of the ancient villages in Northern Shaanxi,understands the construction characteristics of the landscape environment of the ancient villages in Northern Shaanxi,and sums up the construction pattern of landscape consciousness in the ancient villages in Northern Shaanxi Province,based on the natural environment,the humanistic spirit as the kernel,the regional heritage as the characteristic,and the cutting of the wooden valley village of Jia County.To explore the construction techniques and humanistic spirit of the village landscape environment,and to elaborate its reference to the protection and development of landscape style in the urban and rural construction in the north of Shaanxi.
