Nowadays,the functions of construction projects are becoming more and more complex,and the technical requirements are constantly improving.The organization and coordination in all aspects of construction need to be more efficient and accurate,and the traditional construction quality management method is hard to adapt to this trend.In recent years,the rise of BIM technology in China's construction industry has inspired the construction enterprises,and some enterprises are actively combining the BIM technology with the construction quality management.But,the BIM technology starts late in China,the construction enterprises lack awareness of this new technology.They doubt the "input-output ratio" and the application being able to improve the quality management level of this new quality management tool,the majority of enterprises are still in a wait state.In order to promote the deep application and development of BIM technology and provide a reference for the construction enterprises,this paper sets up a performance evaluation model to make quantitative analysis of input and output of BIM's application in the construction quality management,measuring the performance level of this quality management approach from the perspective of construction enterprises.First of all,this paper studied the application form and value of BIM technology in quality management at construction stage,and analyzed several typical application cases in China.After that,based on the objectives and principles of performance evaluation index system,this paper statistically analyzed 45 existing documents about BIM's application efficiency in construction quality management at home and abroad.Bibliometrical method was used to analyze the distribution of documents and benefitevaluation indicators,and the related indicators of quality management benefit were extracted.Combined with the theory of information technology benefit evaluation,indexes were enriched and classified.Through the Delphi method and considering the content of general project quality management performance evaluation,this paper selected and optimized indicators.Finally,this paper set up a performance evaluation index system which included 16 evaluation indexes,including finance,product,organization,management and strategy in five aspects.After that,the weight of each index was determined by AHP.Then,the benefit characteristics of BIM technology applied in construction quality management were analyzed.The direct economic benefit was determined by the investment return rate,and the indirect benefit was evaluated by the extension comprehensive evaluation method.Finally,taking the Laian center project T5 building as an example,this paper analyzed the specific application form of BIM technology in the construction quality management of the project,and evaluated the application of BIM through the performance evaluation system.The rate of return on investment was 70.5%,indicated that the application of BIM in the construction quality management had obvious economic benefit;indirect benefit comprehensive evaluation resulted as "very good",and compared with the average performance level of traditional construction quality management method,BIM should really help improve the level of the company's quality management.At the same time,according to the results of the evaluation,the shortcomings of the BIM application were analyzed,and the corresponding improvement measures were put forward.
