Research On The Classification Of Habitat-unit In The Urban Green Space Of Xi ’an

With the acceleration of urbanization, urban problems appear continuously. Located in the northwest of China, Xi’an is a city with fragile ecological environment, and the contradiction and stresses between the urbanization and urban ecological environment are particularly obvious, which severely restrict and constraint the progress of ecological city construction. A great quantity of ecological land are occupied by commercial, recreation, sports, residential and office functions, increasing the stress of urban development on the surrounding ecological environment and constriction of ecological environment deterioration on urban development.Focused on the problems in the ecological process of large and medium- sized cities in northwest C hina, this paper analysis the constitute elements in urban gree n space system of Xi’an, and then classifies the urban green habitat unit according to the construction and size of the basic spatial unit pattern. There are three main research contents. The first part mainly elaborates the background, purpose and significance of this research, sums up the concepts and scopes of the relative definition, and finally, by proposing the main content, methods and framework of the research, the necessity and feasibility of urban green space habitat units classification are estab lished. In the second part, the statement about the theories of urban green environment were given, the structure and the system of urban habitat space were analyzed, then put forward the problems existing in the current classification of green space syste m in our country. Through the analysis of the environment unit components and the types of environment space form in different scales, we sum up that the composition of urban green habitat space and the view point of how to classify it.Thirdly, according to the characteristics of urban habitat unit in northwest China, the composition and the classifying method of Xi ’an urban green space habitat unit based on the urban ecological background and space structure were analyzed. At the same time, It has been carried out that the urban ecological efficiency of all kinds of green space and the value of it in the urban and rural environment, finally the model of urban green space habitat types has been extracted according to xi ’an urban landscape ecological pattern.This paper aims to through the research of large and medium-sized cities in the northwest,the form of green space system and habitat space in xi ’an, divided into 12 kinds of urban green space habitat types, and its extraction model of six types.Furthermore, by reviewing the related researches results at home and abroad, classify and designate urban green space from the perspective of landscape ecology, and clearly define the ecological efficiency of all kinds of green space in the city, as well as its function and value to urban and rural environment. Finally, resort the urban green space from the perspective of urban landscape planning, and construct basic theory system of urban green space habitats creation in Northwest regions of China.
