Compared with reinforced concrete structure,large-span spatial structure has plenty of advantage properties such as reasonable resistance,light weight,good anti-seismic performance,and short construction period.It is rich of forms and artistic expressions.With the development of earthquake-resistant concept which has taken performance as target,static elastic plastic analytical method has been widely used in earthquake-resistant design,but is limited in large-span spatial structure.Compared with static elastic-plastic analytical method,dynamic time history analytical method is perfect.Through nonlinear analysis of the structure,it is aims to find weakness link which can take proper anti-seismic measures to prevent collapse caused by member failure.This paper takes K8 pattern single-layer reticulated domes for the research object.The nonlinear response of K8 pattern single-layer reticulated domes under rare earthquakes are analyzed by using static elastic plastic analytical method and dynamic time history analytical method,which the fortification intensity is 8 degree.The main research works are as follows:(1)Modal analysis of single-layer reticulated domes.The higher modes were in a position which can not been ignored.Whether it was horizontal or vertical vibration mode,the high modes were always more important.Meanwhile,modal analysis provided the basic data for modal static elastic plastic analysis.(2)Nonlinear seismic response analysis of single-layer reticulated domes under vertical rare earthquakes.Influence of some parameters was considered such as the rise-span ratio,the section size and earthquake waves.The nonlinear responses were analyzed by using static elastic plastic analytical method and dynamic time history analytical method,meanwhile,finding weakness link.It was summarized up from the calculation examples that in the case of large rise-span ratio,the maximum displacement results of static elastic plastic analysis and dynamic time history analysis were relatively close.(3)Nonlinear seismic response analysis of single-layer reticulated domes under horizontal rare earthquakes.Influence of some parameters was considered such as the rise-span ratio,the section size and earthquake waves.The nonlinear responses were analyzed by using static elastic-plastic analytical method and dynamic time history analytical method,meanwhile,finding weakness link.It was summarized up from the calculation examples that there were unstable bars when the structure was destroyed in dynamic time history analysis.In dynamic time history analysis,if the structure was not destroyed and the number of plastic bar was small,the results of dynamic time history analysis and static elastic plastic analysis were relatively close.(4)Nonlinear seismic response analysis of single-layer reticulated domes under three directional rare earthquakes.Influence of some parameters was considered such as the rise-span ratio,the section size and earthquake wave.The nonlinear response were analyzed by using dynamic time history analytical method,meanwhile,finding weakness link and unstable rods.
