With the continuous development and progress of the economy,Chinese urbanization process continues to move forward.In order to manage the cities,some municipal facilities are handled underground,and maintenance of various types of underground facilities can only be accomplished through inspection wells.Integral settlements,rotten edges around the cover,well-bore ridges,damaged well covers,and internal settlements in well covers and wells after inspection wells are put into use not only affect the comfort and safety of driving,but also affect the appearance of the city appearance.In order to deeply study the problem of the combination of inspection wells and urban roads,this paper mainly carried out the work just as follows:(1)Through the investigation of the status of road inspection wells in some cities in Guangzhou and the analysis of domestic and international research status,the types and causes of the damages of traditional inspection wells and self-adjusting inspection wells are analyzed and summarized,and relevant improvement measures and opinions are proposed accordingly.(2)Use finite element software ABAQUS to establish three-dimensional numerical models for traditional inspection wells and self-adjusting inspection wells,respectively.Firstly,the two models are subjected to ground stress balance,and then the stress strain,settlement deformation law of the two kinds of inspection wells under the static and dynamic loads of the simplified traffic load are analyzed,and the similarities and differences between the two types of well covers under different working conditions are compared.Find out the mechanism of the overall settlement of the two inspection wells.(3)Through on-site investigation and review of relevant data,the main reasons for summarizing the internal settlement of the common ductile iron inspection wells are: rust damage,wear and tear,fatigue damage and other damage.In addition,the finite element software ABAQUS was used to establish a three-dimensional numerical model of the manhole shaft of the inspection well,and the fatigue related laws of the well cover under the cyclic loading were analyzed.Finally,the measures and opinions for improving the internal settlement of the inspection well were proposed.
