In recent years,China's economy has developed rapidly and cars have emerged as more and more households as a convenient transportation tool.The rapid growth of car ownership on the one hand brings great convenience to people,but at the same time it also causes frequent traffic accidents,increases the number of casualties,and poses a great threat to people's lives and property safety.In order to improve vehicle safety and reduce casualties,it is extremely necessary to study the crashworthiness of automobiles.At present,most of the world's major auto-producing countries have imposed strict regulations on car collisions,requiring strict standards in the development and production of automobiles.This article describes the status quo of front collision regulations at home and abroad,and introduces the Chinese New Car Assessment Program,content includes test items,scoring methods,and frontal crash test methods.In this paper,the collision finite element analysis theory is introduced in detail,including basic mechanical models and equations,finite element discretization,unit types,hourglass control,time integration and time step control,and contact control etc.In view of the simulation of the frontal 100% overlapping rigid collision and the frontal 40% bias collision,this paper establishes the collision simulation model,including the division and quality control of the grid,the selection of the unit type of the body parts,the connection setting of each component,the property setting of the replacement material in the body of the white body,the modeling of the rigid wall,the initial conditions and the boundary parameters and so on..Referring to the provisions of C-NCAP in China,this paper uses LS-DYNA,HyperMesh and other software to simulate the 100% overlapped collision,the 40%overlap deformable collision and the side impact simulation of the base model and the whole aluminum body model respectively.Based on the simulation results,vehicle body deformation analysis,firewall deformation analysis,B column acceleration analysis and energy analysis are carried out.The analysis and analysis of the front longitudinal beam and the rules of the collision are summarized.Through the comparison and analysis of the simulation results,the deformation of the whole aluminum body model firewall is better than the basic model,the bending deformation of the front end of the longitudinal beam is bent and the collision energy is fully absorbed;the coverage range of the large intrusion of the firewall is obviously reduced,the maximum deformation of the firewall has smaller impact on the living space of the occupants in the car,and the acceleration of the B column decreases slightly,white.The quality of vehicle body is reduced obviously,which has reference significance for vehicle lightweight collision simulation research.Finally,the achievements and shortcomings of the whole work are summarized.
