At present, the economic development in our country continues uninterruptedly. At the same time, the construction of public service facilities lags behind the economic development.Public medical facilities are an important part of public service facilities. The rational allocation of medical facilities relates to the health of residents. There are some problems such as insufficient facilities resources and uneven distribution. In order to optimize the layout of medical facilities, the spatial differentiation of medical facility accessibility needs to be evaluated. This study analyzed the spatial distribution of medical resources in Shenzhen based on the hierarchical features of medical facilities, and evaluated the medical accessibility, and revealed the spatial differences and regional characteristics of medical resources allocation. The hierarchical characteristics of medical facilities are analyzed. The medical facilities are divided into three levels: municipal hospitals,district-level hospitals and community-level hospitals.Two-step floating catchment area is selected as a measure of accessibility, and the gravity attenuation function is introduced to improve the method.Different thresholds and distance attenuation coefficients are set for different levels of medical facilities.Through the collection and processing of medical facility data, population data and road data in Shenzhen,we set up a geographic database. The accessibility of medical facilities at all levels were measured and spatial distribution characteristics were analyzed.Based on the medical treatment rate and accessibility results at all levels in Shenzhen,a comprehensive assessment was made on the accessibility of medical facilities. The accessibility measure and population distribution are analyzed jointly to analyze the matching between medical facilities and population distribution. We put forward the suggestions for optimizing the layout of medical resources based on the factors of transportation and policies. Thus providi ng the basis for the optimal allocation and planning of medical resources in Shenzhen.
