The good development of public medical health is closely related to everyone's well-being.Creating a convenient and efficient hospital environment is a great and arduous public welfare historical task for the whole society.With the acceleration of urbanization,spatial mismatch of public medical service facilities is caused by a number of factors,such as,increasing and rapidly floating population,promoting transport efficiency,increasing urban economy,and transformation between old districts and the new.So the demands for medical services are changing dramatically in different regions and supplies of former medical resources are in contradiction with the demands,which needs to be solved.In recent years,the field of the urban and rural planning has also paid more and more attention to the rationality of the layout of public medical service facilities.This paper takes the research scope of Xi'an as an empirical case and attempts to explore the method to achieve spatial optimization of public medical service resources.Firstly,the current status of medical resources in the study area would be analyzed.According to the relevant requirements,the medical service facilities were stratified,and the spatial distribution characteristics of the “core area + dot form distribution” were analyzed by means of kernel density analysis.Secondly,based on combination of conventional data and the new,such as,POI of public medical service,nighttime light data,transportation network,census data and so on,traffic spatial accessibility in every research unit would be calculated by modified potential model and its average value would be presented from the street space scale.So the spatial characteristics of the accessibility of medical service facilities at each level would be analyzed and be graded and evaluated.Thirdly,combined service coverages and the grading evaluating results,public medical service would be evaluated comprehensively in every street by endowing different weights.There were 4 types of medical service areas: convenient area for medical service,general area for medical service,potential area for medical service and inconvenient area for medical service.So the areas relatively lacking medical service would be identified.Fourthly,based on the above analysis results,combined with the latest medical resource allocation plan of Xi'an,the “location allocation” module in ArcGIS system was used to optimize the spatial layout of various levels of medical public service facilities in the research scope,and it would propose a new optimization of space plan.Lastly,based on the above research,this paper proposed suggestions for improving the medical service facilities resources from the perspective of medical resource facilities planning and layout design,medical and health management decision-making and medical demands.
