| Visual design has always been an important form of expression in the field of architectural design.Since the designer sketched the concept on paper,the image has been used to express the effect that a design may achieve.With the popularity of computer-aided design,from the rendering of still-frame images to building-roaming animations,these innovative design methods have facilitated communication.Today,virtual reality technology has developed rapidly in recent years.The UE4 engine technology is also used in architectural visual design VR design tools because of its own advantages.It will further enhance the visual experience of building visual design.The UE4 engine technology is applied to the field of architectural visualization design,breaking the traditional architectural design process.The design mode is no longer limited to the plane,elevation and three-dimensional state;the design expression and design ideas,using UE4 engine technology to build a realistic three-dimensional environment,design Designers and customers can experience the design object “immersively” and move around freely in the virtual space.When problems are found,they can be modified in time,and interactive design can be performed to see different design effects in real time.This article analyzes relevant literature and uses the UE4 engine as an entry point to analyze the application of architectural visualization.First of all,chase its roots to understand the virtual reality technology,clarify the relationship between the UE4 engine and the virtual reality technology,and gradually draw the intrinsic link between the UE4 engine and the building visualization.The impact on the visual design of the building will pave the way for the latter.Further study how each stage of visual design develops and analyzes its advantages and disadvantages,and then specifically to the UE4 engine,starting from the theoretical overview,combined with the visualization of the design of the form,the application skills of UE4 engine in architectural visualization analysis.Next is the research results of the research project“Based on the UE4 engine technology in the VR space cloud platform development for crowd founders”that participated in the tutor.The in-depth study of the UE4 engine technology’s production process and lessons learned and sharing.Finally,it extended to the author’s graduation design project,using UE4 engine technology to demonstrate the production process and heavy and difficult points of the ultra-realistic architectural visualization design work “Home”. |
