With the rapid development of our country’s railway,rail transport on the signal control and other auxiliary systems,automation and performance requirements are getting higher and higher.Railway turnout is an important part of the railway transportation system,so the turnout of the turn for the safe operation of the railway has a crucial impact.When the winter is frozen or snowfall occurs,if the snow has not been promptly and completely removed,the turnout may be unable to close,which will directly lead to the train can not run.laborious snow time and effort will also threaten the safety of vehicles and personnel safety,in order to meet the current railway fast and safe operation requirements.It is necessary to design a set of turnout snowmaking system with high automation and effective snowmaking for the above reasons.In this paper,the advantages of the electric heating switch snow melting system are analyzed by comparing several kinds of switch snow melting systems which have been used more at home and abroad.The structure,principle and working mode of the electric heating turnout snow melting system are analyzed.A set of ARM based hardware platform and μCOS-Ⅱ software operation system is designed,and the main control program of the electric heating switch snow melting is designed by using Visual C++ language.Through the analysis of the embedded system,analyzes the reasons for using ARM+μCOS-Ⅱ operating characteristics,a detailed study of the interface and the performance of LPC2478 micro controller,introduces the preemptive multitasking embedded real-time operating system μCOS-Ⅱ,the task of creating a scheduling and interrupt mechanism were studied.Introduces the μCOS-Ⅱ in the ARM hardware platform transplantation,analysis of the electric heating snow melting system function demand,the system creates 14 tasks and 7 modules of the 14 systems,the name of the task priority and the stack partition,realize the function of the rules,the design process of the 7 procedures module in detail.Through the establishment and transmission of semaphores between tasks,data transmission and task scheduling are implemented,and the system is automatically turned on or off.The system recognizes the control mode,sets the heating temperature on and off,and collects temperature and rain and snow conditions in real time.And judgments,loop data acquisition and other functions have met the real needs of efficient and automatic snow melting.
