In the alpine region of northern China,there is a serious problem of snow accumulation in winter.Due to the influence of ice and snow,the conversion of railway switch often faces obstacles.When large-scale snowfall occurs,if the snow is not completely removed in time,the movable part of the ballast is frozen by the influence of the track bed,and when the ballast moves,the snow between the basic track and the ballast track is changed.The operation of the machine is compressed and consolidated into ice,which causes the tip of the tip rail to not fit tightly to the basic rail.During the long distance travel,the snow on both sides of the coil is attached to the bottom of the vehicle.When the vehicle body vibrates or the temperature rises,the ice fell,stuck between the ballast and the basic track,and even damaged the line equipment.It can be said that as an important driving device,the normal operation of the switch is an indispensable condition for safe driving of the railway.Once it is affected by snow and ice,it would directly affect the train's pick-up and delivery work,resulting in the train not working properly,causing the train to be delayed or even derailed.The accident happened.Under the background of the rapid development of the national economy,especially due to the increasingly developed industrial and agricultural,mining and tourism industries in Inner Mongolia,the Jitong line has fast-growing passenger and cargo volume.However,inconsistent with the increasing traffic volume,the Jitong line still uses the way of snow removal and artificial spraying of snow melting agent to carry out the snow removal.There is only one mechanized snow removal vehicle on the whole line.There are disadvantages such as low efficiency,high labor cost,and unsafe protection of workers' personal safety.It is necessary to find a system with high automation and high efficiency.At present,in the practical application of the ballast system,the isolation relay is used to control the heating of the original.There are many problems in the application,such as: the device is automatically turned on under low temperature,which causes waste of energy;the system starts and stops frequently,which shortens the service life of the heating element;the heating system starts to work when it receives the snow signal,and there is no effective snow prevention mechanism;the temperature control module has low precision and large error.In order to solve the above problems,this paper has done a detailed analysis of the needs of the collection line,and takes automation control,real-time monitoring and information collection as the research focus,and realizes the intelligent,efficient and energy-saving of the ballast melting snow by using the PID control method.According to the workflow of the system,the ballast system is divided into four levels,and the methods for designing and implementing each level and module are discussed.The system can make a judgment in advance according to the weather forecast information of the weather station and the actual meteorological conditions on the site,so that the system is always in a ready state and quickly and accurately put into snow melting work according to different weather conditions;the entire control system uses PID control as the system The core control logic and temperature control PID algorithm design ensure the fast and stable operation of the system.The most important part of the system is the intelligent heating module.The cycle generator is used to control the thyristor on-off frequency to achieve the heating element.The heating efficiency of the device is controlled so as to achieve the purposes of accurate control,rapid response and energy saving.At the same time,it can reduce frequent start and stop and prolong the service life of the equipment.Taking into account the current snow melting requirements for railway switch in Jitong Railway,the load capacity of the system can meet the requirements of use,and it provides expandable space.
