With the rapid development of computer simulation technology,virtual reality technology shows a vigorous vitality,which is being integrated by all walks of life,such as medical treatment,aviation,virtual reality battlefield,education and manufacturing industry,especially in the teaching field of insufficient teaching funds and inadequate laboratory equipment configuration.Aiming at a series of problems such as inadequate teaching practice conditions and not meeting the teaching requirements of experimental equipment,based on the analysis of the research status of virtual simulation technology at home and abroad,a large-scale virtual experiment system for mechanical design is designed,which integrates virtual teaching,exhibition hall display and report.The main contents of this thesis,include:(1)Determining the overall design scheme of mechanical design virtual simulation system.Based on the platform of UG NX software,the 3d model of a reducer was built.3ds Max was used to optimize the model.Unity3 D was selected as the system development engine.(2)When the model in UG software is imported into Unity environment,data loss occurs.In order to solve this problem,a method of model and data separation and reorganization is proposed.(3)Realization of feature extraction of UG 3d model.Taking Visual Studio 2010 as the platform,UG/Open API function was called by C++ language to complete the feature information extraction of the reducer model,and then the feature information was read to the corresponding part of the system.(4)Design and implementation of virtual simulation system software for mechanical design.Through the control logic to achieve the virtual scene editing,user interface production,and so on,and finally the mechanical design virtual simulation system software was released to the Windows platform.In this thesis,virtual reality technology is applied to mechanical products to realize virtual assembly of mechanical products and model checking in virtual environment,which has a certain practical value.VR technology provides a new teaching mode for virtual teaching and training of mechanical products,and has a certain reference value for the development of virtual simulation technology in the field of mechanical products.
