Since Chinese reform and opening,economic growth drastically.Due to the trend of economically homogeneous,Chinese city construction developed significantly under the new era and environment.Many cities,however,have ruined many historical towns,district and buildings by putting economic development on the first place,and a lack of experience in the beginning of the development.Numbers of Old towns,old districts and old buildings were demolished with an ignorance of the value of the buildings.This fact results in a lapse of people's memory toward towns,districts and buildings,that cannot truly reflect the historic direction of certain area.In the past few years,relevant manage department and related expertise have made some achievement in the protection and utilization of historical blocks,however in general,China is still in its beginning of these stuff.How to protect,how to develop,and how to combine the two is still in under exploration.As a city that has been colonized by Germany and Japan,Qingdao has it's city diversity.The Country has protected many outstanding historical buildings in Qingdao,including Badaguan Historical District.Badaguan Historical District is one of the most unique historical districts in Qingdao.It's different from the other buildings in Qingdao in the same period.It contains the architectural styles of more than 10 countries including English,French,German,Spanish,Russian and Japanese.It generally presents the romantic country villa style that suits the character of the seaside leisure resort villa.Meanwhile,Badaguan Historical district has a sense of building compliance planning during construction,which is relatively in advance among the country.However,such excellent neighborhoods have been damaged due to years of disrepair,man-made damage,etc.Many buildings have changed due to their use,such as reconstruction and expansion.During this period,the overall history of Qingdao Badaguan Historic District The environment has not been fully reconditioned.The topic of how to change this situation requires in-depth study and effective methods.This paper starts with filed research and clarifies to the purpose of the research through elaboration of background and objects.Summarize the methods of governance of historical blocks at home and abroad and learn from the successful cases of historical block management at home and abroad.Summarizing the data and the origin of the Badaguan Historical District and evaluate and grade the value of the building in the block.Finally,giving a conclusion with some personally suggestion and ideas base on the aspects of protection zones,protection measurement,and display utilization.Seeking to combine the protection and utilization of Qingdao Badaguan Historic District to achieve a win-win approach.
