| Strengthening demand management is the core and key to alleviating the current urban parking problem.China’s urban transportation planning field is gradually breaking through the previous restrictions on the minimum building parking standard index to the direction of limiting the maximum building parking standard index.The main reason for this change is the scale and growth rate of the parking facility is far from meeting the demand for parking vehicles generated by public vehicle purchases.How to determine the limitation scope of building parking standard index is the core problem of this paper.This study is based on the unified planning of parking land planning and public transportation land planning,in line with the overall urban transportation development planning needs,and convenient parking areas in public transport areas have reasonable limits.Therefore,under the premise of meeting the basic travel demand,the paper studies the impact of public transport accessibility on parking standard index in residential areas,and establishes the relationship between parking space supply and public transport accessibility level.The content of the paper is as follows:Firstly,the paper takes the typical residential quarters in the central city of Beijing as the research object,and investigates and analyzes the travel characteristics of the residents in different residential areas with different public transport accessibility levels by means of on-site investigation.t shows that the motor vehicle usage rate in residential areas is negatively correlated with the number of public transport lines.The public transportation environment around the residential area is good,and the degree of motor vehicle use will be significantly reduced.At the same time,the paper also investigates and analyzes the residents’ willingness to choose the way of travel in the survey area.In the current state of frequent congestion,more car residents tend to choose public transportation.Secondly,through systematically sorting out the methods for determining the parking standard index in residential areas,the pedigree of parking standard index in residential areas is clarified.Domestic research has made great breakthroughs in the formulation of parking standard,residential area characteristics and influencing factors,but the formulation of construction indicators still meets the demand for land parking.The principles for the formulation of foreign parking standard gradually consider the location,public transportation and other factors,but are limited to qualitative analysis.And the parking standard index are gradually developing in the direction of market regulation and control,public transportation accessibility and road carrying capacity.Finally,the paper defines and quantifies the public transportation accessibility of residential areas.The public transportation accessibility is clarified,the time characteristics,distance characteristics and cost characteristics of public transportation accessibility are analyzed,and the influencing factors of public transportation accessibility are analyzed,including urban structure and scale,land use,urban road network planning and Construction,time and space variables,and then analyze the relationship between public transportaccessibility and parking standard index.The calculation model of public transport accessibility in different regions is constructed,and the public transport accessibility and residential building characteristics,location factors,community motorization level,development policies and other factors are comprehensively analyzed to determine the method and process of analyzing the impact of public transport accessibility on parking standard index in residential areas.Then this paper through the example analysis to analyze the actual application process of this method.China’s large and medium-sized urban transportation has entered the stage of demand management,and should gradually change the traditional concept of fully satisfying demand.This study introduces the public transportation accessibility,analyzes the characteristics of different modes of travel in different transportation infrastructure environments,and has certain reference significance for urban parking allocation policy and parking land planning. |
