Study On Tree Species Selection Of Landscape Forest On Expressway In Fujian Mountainous Area

The geographical characteristics of Fujian are "mountain to sea",and over 80%of the land area is mountainous and hilly.With the increasing construction of Haixi,the development of expressway system plays an important role in Fujian Province.However,the damage to natural environment of mountain can not be ignored.Especially in summer,it often encounters strong storms and rains caused by typhoon weather,which easily leads to landslides,debris flows and other disasters.Shanghang County of Longyan City.lt is located in the mountainous area.Many expressways need to dig holes,which destroys the structure of the mountain greatly.In addition,the annual average precipitation of Shanghang County is 1537.2 mm,and the rainfall intensity and amount are so large that it is easy to wash out the bare mountain body and cause landslides,which has caused great damage to the expressway and its surrounding ecological environment.It can be seen that how to restore the vegetation coverage of Expressway and surrounding areas through landscape afforestation,while creating a unique landscape in the region to alleviate the fatigue of drivers and passengers is particularly urgent.Shanghang County began to afforest the mountain landscape along the expressway in a large area in 2014.After growth of five years and management,it has basically become a forest and has certain ecological benefits.However,the growth of the selected tree species for afforestation is different,which requires forestry workers to carry out afforestation for the tree species adapted to the mountain climate of Shanghang County.Only by screening,researching and popularizing can the economic cost of afforestation be reduced,and the comprehensive benefit of afforestation landscape of Expressway and its surrounding environment be effectively promoted.Therefore,this paper combines the questionnaire survey to analyze and compare the growth,adaptability and landscape effect of different plants planted on the two sides of the expressway in Shanghang County of Fujian Province,such as"Yichongshan","Central Separation Zone","Interchange Zone" and"Two Wings Slope",so as to screen out the suitable climate of the expressway in Shanghang County.Plant species provide theoretical and practical basis for road greening and landscaping in mountainous areas of southern China.The main findings are as follows:1.The growth of different tree species on both sides of expressways in Shanghang County of Fujian is obvious:for example Bauhinia purpurea L.,Vernicia Montana Lour and Koelreuteria bipinnata Franch.var.integrifoliola T.Chen had low survival rate and crown width.The survival rates of Elaeocarpus sylvestris(Lour.)Poir.,Cinnamomum camphora(L.)presl,Schima superba Gardn.et Champ,and Michelia maudiae Dunn were high,the crown width and DBH were all increased.It is suitable for popularizing and applying in mountainous climate area of Shanghang county.2.The growth of different landscaping tree species in the central dividers of expressways is manifested as,Photinia serrudata Lindl.,Loropetalum chinense var.rubrum Yieh,Platycladus orientalis(L.)Franco'Sieboldii and Schefflera arboricola Hay were found.The growth condition is good.During the growth period of 5 years,no undesirable phenomena such as withered branches have appeared.The growth is good.It is suitable for the local climate environment and can be popularized and planted.3.The results of plant landscape analysis in expressway interchange area showed that the tree species in service area were Phoenix sylvestris Roxb.,Podocarpus fleuryi Hickel,Photinia serrndata Lindl.,Loropetalum chinense var.rubrum Yieh,and Rhododendron simsii Planch.The tree species planted in import and export of expressway were Bomb asbestos.Axis malabaricum DC.,Ficus religiosa L.,Cassia surattensis Burm.,Photinia serrudata Lindl.,Ligustrum lucidum Ait.,and Duranta repens L..The tree species at the tunnel entrance and exit all grow well with vigorous vitality which can be used.According to needs,we can create beautiful landscape models and adapt to mountain climate and environment.4.The growth of different landscape afforestation species on the gentle slopes of the two wings of the express highway is manifested as,Michelia maudiae Dnnn,Photinia serrulata Lindl.and Osmanthus fragrans(Lour.)grew well,which played a greening and guiding role.they adapted to the local climate and could be popularized.5.From the visual effect of the expressway landscape forest in Shanghang County of Fujian Province,it can be seen that more than 77%of the citizens pay attention to the greening tree species of the expressway,67%of the citizens think that the vegetation coverage is wide and neat,56%of the citizens think that the mountain on both sides is more suitable for planting tree species,and more than 50%of the citizens think that the green tree species can be alleviated.In a word,more than 80%of drivers and passengers are satisfied with the construction of Expressway afforestation in Shanghang County,expressing their support for further improvement of the effect of expressway landscape afforestation.
