At present,environmental pollution and ecological destruction problem,which caused by car,were received extensive attention of the whole society.Countries around the world in efforts to control vehicle emissions,And regard the road greening as an important measure to improve the eco-environment of road.Paper attempts to study highly efficient green plant materials to provide the theoretical foundation for urban road greening plant selection.By using APH evaluation method,to model two assessment systems of ecological function about arbor species and shrub species,based on 14 indicators of improving the physical and chemical,biological road environment.Q uantitative evaluation of plants in the role of improving ecological environment of urban road,to provide a reference for material selection of urban road greening.Also,paper evaluated Sophora japonica,Populus tomentosa,Salix babylonica and other 35 common road greening plants in Beijing.The effect of shading and shielding to UVB were tested.The results revealed that Platanus occidentalis?Cedrus deodara?Paulownia tomentosa?Sophora japonica and Koelreuteria paniculata had better effect of shading.While Cedrus deodara ? Paulownia tomentosa ? Platanus occidentalis?Koelreuteria paniculata and Sophora japonica had better effect of shading to UVB.Some indicators were graded assignment through literature review,includ ing Temperature-lowering and humidity-raising?Dust catching ability?Noise reduction?The CO2 fixation and O2 release?The resistance of the NOX?Absorbing ability of SO2?Absorption of lead?Absorption of cadmium?Sterilization effect?Avoid attract insects?Avoid pollen pollution?Avoid flying-butt pollution.According to the quantitative results: the better eco-environment in deciduous trees is Sophora japonica?Paulownia tomentosa?Robinia pseudoacacia?Koelreuteria paniculata?Acer truncatum?Platanus occidentalis;The better eco-environment in evergreen trees is Cedrus deodara?Sabina chinensis,and the Pinus better than the Sabina;The better eco-environment in flowering shrubs is Prunus cerasifera?Lagerstroemia indica ? Lonicera maackii ? Hibiscus syriacus ? Rosa chinensis ? Prunus persica?Sorbaria kirilowii;Hedges scores from high to low is Buxus megistophylla?Berberis thunbergii?Buxus sinica?Ligustrum X vicaryi.According to plants assessment results obtained evaluation and optimization suggestions of road greening effect for Beichen West Road,Hubian East Road,Kehui South Road,and applyed quantitative evaluation of plant ecological efficiency to road greening.
