The user's needs are the main factors that designers must consider when designing products,meeting the needs of users is the ultimate goal of the design.According to "iceberg theory",only one-seventh of a person's demand is revealed,and the other six-seven are hidden inside.How to dig out these hidden demands will be a difficult point in product design in the future.The product information representation is the sign of the product being exposed and is the main way to highlight the personality of the product.With the advent of Industry 4.0,smart products have gradually integrated into people's lives.The needs of users have gradually shifted from functional to spiritual.The importance of information representation of products has become more and more important,and how to satisfy such spiritual needs,users themselves may also Can't express it clearly.Although there are a large number of literature research at Domestic and foreign,there is not a product information representation design system based on implicit demand in general.Therefore,there is still need to be studied in this respect.In addition,hidden demand is an important category of design psychology.In order to improve the acquisition and expression of implicit needs in product design,and develop distinctive product design methods and design patterns,it is necessary to strengthen the mining of hidden user needs and the Integration and application in information representation design.Based on this,the paper will do further research on the hidden needs of users,and explore the design principles and methods of product information representation based on implicit requirements.The thesis summarizes and analyzes contemporary domestic and foreign design psychology and recessive needs,as well as numerous achievements and materials in the research field of information representation.Starting from the humanity expansion method(theory)combined with the user pain point extension method(actual),Finding its meeting point as a means to tap user implicit needs.The dissertation elaborates the difference between the user and the designer's respective needs,and avoids the misunderstanding of the user's needs when designing the product,which results in the product design being in violation of the original intention.The paper discusses the conversion methods and transformation possibilities of implicit demand and product information characterization.Finally,a whole set of research methods and design procedures are proposed.Specifically,it involves the interpretation and exploration of hidden user needs;the cognitive design of product information representation includes three aspects: intuitive visual representation method,information integration visual representation method,and the visual representation of the connotation of extension.Operational design,including The visual guidance highlights operational characterization and the use of visual contexts to promote operational association.The emotional design includes two aspects: the assurance of emotion from the inside out and the intensified representation of the emotion.Let the design finally meet the user's growing hidden demand.The dissertation proposes mining methods for hidden user needs,mechanisms and strategies for product information representation,and design principles and design methods for product information representation based on implicit requirements.It hopes to provide certain reference and guidance for future product design.
