With the rapid development of social economy and the process of urbanization,the number of vehicles in urban road network continues to grow,and urban congestion is increasing seriously.This situation restricts the future development of urban economic.Intersection,as the intersection of urban road,is a concentrated area of traffic congestion problem.Therefore,it is necessary to study the intersection signal control and simulation.This paper is based on three aspects:traffic simulation modeling,intersection simulation system and intersection signal control.We established a simulation model of intersection.We developed an intersection simulation platform.On the basis of analyzing the traffic process,we apply the fuzzy control theory to the control of intersection lamp,and designs and implements a variety of cross fuzzy controller.The main work of this paper is as follows:1.This paper describes the background and significance of this study,the intersection traffic flow and traffic simulation,while intersection control development status were summarized and analyzed.2.The simulation model of intersection traffic system is established,which mainly includes two parts:the object model of intersection and the real-time change model of intersection.The intersection system consists of four parts:vehicle,lane,section and signal lamp,and the object oriented mathematical model is built for each part,which constitute the object model of intersection.The real-time change of the intersection system is divided into the real-time change of each component,and the real-time model of each part is established,which constitute the real-time change model of intersection.3.The function and structure of intersection simulation system is designed.According to the function difference,the intersection simulation system is divided into several modules,including traffic system module,traffic system refresh module,traffic signal control module,database and man-machine interface.Then the layout style of each part is designed.The function of each part are carried out.Finally,the various parts are combined into a complete intersection simulation system.4.According to the simulation of the thinking method and process of traffic police directing traffic,the fuzzy control is introduced into the signal control of intersection.By using the intersection simulation system of this paper,the control effect of fuzzy control is tested,and the results show that it has good control effect.According to the experimental results,the intersection fuzzy control was improved into multilevel fuzzy control and multilevel fuzzy control variable sequence,and they were verified with good control effect.
