For a long time,no matter in the design stage,the construction stage and the post-completion stage of each construction project,the quality management effect of each stage has not reached the expected requirements of the owner,the general contractor and other participants.When problems arise in the quality management of construction projects,managers will take some urgent remedial measures to rectify the related problems.But no matter from the quality of buildings or from the effect of quality management mode system,the best quality effect can not be achieved.Therefore,in the era of rapid development of new technologies such as computer information,construction industry urgently needs a new management means or mode system to realize the leap of information engineering management quality in construction industry.Since BIM technology was first applied to China's construction projects in 2008,the application and innovation research of BIM technology in China's construction industry has been fruitful.Using BIM technology to create three-dimensional model can simulate the actual construction process and carry abundant building information.In addition,BIM technology can also achieve real-time query of material and product quality information needed for construction,and verify the quality information on site with the quality information contained in the model.In the study of quality management of BIM-based construction projects,this paper first analyzes the technical theory.Firstly,it analyzes the definition characteristics,influencing factors and main quality problems of traditional engineering quality management,and then compares it with BIM-based quality management,pointing out the shortcomings of traditional engineering quality management.By studying the characteristics and value of BIM technology,BIM technology is introduced into engineering quality management to avoid unnecessary risks,thereby improving the efficiency of project quality management.Secondly,the application of BIM technology in engineering quality management is studied.A BIM-based engineering quality management process was established,and the research was carried out on a case-by-case basis according to the management process,including: deepening design during construction,BIM-based visualization technology,BIM-based quality management communication mechanism,The transmission and sharing of quality information and the expansion and application of “BIM+” technology in quality management.This paper takes the Qingdao Olympic Sports center project in Qingdao,Shandong Province as an example,and applies the BIM-based engineering quality management process.In the construction and construction stage,under the organization of the owner SPV company,coordinate the general contractor,design party,supervision party and consultant to carry out the information management of the whole process of the construction quality of the project,and finally analyze the results and benefits obtained.
