A Study On The Environmental Landscape Design For Building Group In Institutions Of Higher Education

With the continuous development and progress of the society and the times,higher education has also been given more characteristics of the times.Meanwhile,construction and development of institutions of higher education have gradually not been able to meet teachers’and students’demands on landscape diversity of campus building groups.Landscape of campus building groups is an important part in creating the overall landscape atmosphere and plays a significant role in building a distinctive campus image,building a cozy working and studying landscape space for both teachers and students.In this study,the author elaborates the concepts related to the landscape of building group environment in institutions of education by means of basic data collection,literature review,case investigation,comparative analysis and summary,followed by the relationship between building groups and environmental landscape,types and features of building groups,design factors,philosophy and principle of design,analyzes and summarizes the characteristics of environmental landscape design for building groups from the perspectives of the general profiles and design elements of environmental landscape design by taking University of Sydney,University of New Southern Wales,Nanjing University,Nanjing University of Science and Technology,Nanjing Forestry University,Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine,Nanjing Normal University and Nanjing University of the Arts as examples,and finally completes the empirical study based on the environmental landscape design for building groups of Nanjing Agricultural University Weigang District.Comprehensively and systematically,empirical study in this thesis covers thorough analysis of project overview,situation analysis,objective and principles of design,environmental landscape design strategy for the teaching building and life science building,as well as detailed landscape design of key nodes in building group environment.In the empirical study,the author has taken full advantage of the development tendency of environmental landscape of building groups,drawn experience from advanced landscape design philosophies of universities at home and abroad,given consideration to both the functional quality and spiritual value of environment landscape of building groups,emphasized the creation of communication space and humanistic atmosphere,worked out the campus landscape with characteristics of the times and cultural conception,and provided the promotion plan for Nanjing Agricultural University Weigang District.With the completion of this study,the author hopes it will supplement and perfect environmental landscape design methods for building groups in institutions of higher education and provide references for similar design projects in China.
