With the rapid development of computer technology and information technology, the human-computer interaction interface of complex information systems has experienced development from analog control to digital control. The digital interface has played an important role in many important fields of civilian applications and national defense, from the nuclear power plant control room to fighter cockpit, the digital interface has become the main way for obtaining information and making decisions.Under the circumstance of information,a large amount of data and high complexity in the digital interface of complex information systems poses great challenges to users' decision making. How to provide appropriate information and help users make reasonable decisions is particularly important. However, current decision-making research mainly focuses on the study of behavioral decision-making in economics and public management, and it mainly uses mathematics models such as mathematical expectation, lack of decision-making research related to digital interfaces and from the perspective of design method. This paper expounds the characteristics of digital interface of complex information systems and analyzes the factors that influence user's decision making from three aspects: information, individual, and environment.Based on this theory, the concept of information complexity based on image entropy is proposed.Taking the digital interface of nuclear power plant as the research object, the eye movement and ERPs evaluation methods were used to study the impact of information complexity on user decision-making.Through relevant indicators of eye movement and ERPs,the psychological and neural processes behind the user's decision were studied, and the impact of information complexity on user's decision making was obtained, and an effective reference for the design and improvement of digital interface in the future was provided. The eye movement experiment studied user's decision-making speed, quality, efficiency and load from such indicators as pupil diameter change, scan paths, heat map, correct rate and response time. The study found the interface with moderate information complexity and prominent information helps users to make decisions. It also found that women users are suitable for simple and short-time decision making, while male users are more suitable for complex and long-time decision making. The ERPs experiment adopts the response-locked,it studies the late EEG components from the stimulation to the key response and studies the EEG waveform of the user's decision-making response from two angles, the electrode and the brain area. The waveform of 200 ms before key press action was extracted.I found that the active area was mainly concentrated in the left hemisphere, with the frontal and temporal lobes being the most concentrated.By analyzing the two characteristic parameters of the ERP waveform, amplitude and latency,it was found that the temporal lobe is related to the early decisionmaking response, while the frontal lobe is related to the late decision-making phase.Reducing the information complexity of the interface and using the same information grouping in each block can help users make decisions. This article comprehensively used eye movement and ERPs technology to study the relationship between interface information complexity and user decision making, discussed the psychological and neural process behind decision making, and provided effective reference and new evidence for the design and improvement of the interface.
